KARACHI: At a local hotel here on Thursday, Khanmigo, an AI-powered application created by Khan Academy Pakistan (KAP) to improve student learning and assist teachers, was introduced. It is believed to revolutionize education in the nation.
Salman Amin Khan, an American educationist, founded Khan Academy with the goal of giving everyone, wherever, free access to top-notch education. It is a platform that creates YouTube video courses on a number of different topics. The KAP is a Pakistani branch of Khan Academy that aims to further the goals and objectives of its founder.
Khanmigo, an AI-powered tool from KAP, serves as a tutor for students, offering them individualized support and guiding them through difficult concepts at their own speed.
“Where are all of these kids going? The cost of producing qualified teachers to instruct them is equally high. Pakistan’s educational system is in a state of crisis. AI can provide the general public with inexpensive, individualized instruction. To solve our educational problems, we are forced to use this technology,” he stated.
The goal of Khanmigo, according to Naeem Zamindar, another member of the KAP board, was to allow every student to learn at their own pace.
